Every Brilliant Thing with James Kuhl

Monday, September 306:30—9:00 PMNorthville Community CenterNorthville Community Center303 W Main St, Northville, MI, 48167

The funniest play about depression you’ll ever see.

*Note: Introductory interaction with James begins at 6:30

The list began after his mother’s first attempt. A list of everything brilliant about the world. Everything worth living for:
1. Ice cream.
2. Water fights.
3. Staying up past your bedtime and being allowed to watch TV.
4. The color yellow.
5. Things with stripes.
6. Rollercoasters.
The narrator describes the journey of the list throughout his life and how it becomes a reassuring
mechanism for working through his best and worst times. This honest and heartwarming play
engages the audience in a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience, which manages to be simultaneously
funny and poignant.
It’s a story that’s as heartwarming as it is discussion-worthy, and it leaves theatre-goers better off for
having experienced it.

Every Brilliant Thing, presented by Tipping Point Theatre, is generously funded by the Friends of the Library.
